Dr. Amara is committed to providing excellence in dentistry and stands out as a leading dentist in the Frisco, TX area. She uses the latest in dentistry techniques to provide you with a beautiful and healthy smile. Additionally, Dr. Amara believes strongly in education to prevent oral health problems before they occur and makes sure to keep patients fully informed about their dental health.
Dr. Amara has been a keen observer of people’s smiles and teeth since a very young age, and the desire to make them even brighter led her to choose dentistry after college. She has always believed that a smile is a person's best asset, and we should preserve it for a lifetime. Dr. Amara’s ability to pay attention to minor details and her commitment to helping you maintain healthy gums and great looking teeth with the latest cosmetic dentistry procedures in a warm and comfortable environment makes her an unsurpassed dentist.
Dr. Amara's motto is "Treat patients as you would like to be treated," and so she treats everyone with only the utmost empathy.
Dr. Amara received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry. Prior to this, she completed her Bachelors of Dental Surgery from prestigious JSS Dental College & Hospital, Mysore, India, where she practiced for two years. Before opening Nysa Dental, Dr. Amara worked as an associate dentist at various family and cosmetic dental practices in the DFW area.
Dr. Amara keeps current with all new updates in dentistry by continually taking continuing education courses. She is a member in good standing with the Texas State Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Tarrant County Dental Society. She is also a certified Invisalign clear braces provider.
In addition to her commitment to her practice and family, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Dr. Usha Kolli received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from the Government Dental College and Hospital, Vijayawada, India, and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry. She has also received advanced training in implant dentistry.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Usha Kolli worked in India as a general dentist for two years, where she had an opportunity to bring care to under-served communities. She credits this experience with helping her grow tremendously both personally and professionally.
Dr. Kolli is very down to earth and conservative in her approach to dental procedures. She specializes in wisdom teeth extractions and dental implant procedures. Dr. Kolli truly cares for her patients and creates a friendly and comfortable atmosphere that helps put even the most anxious patients at ease.
Her professional goal is to continue to educate herself with the newest and most efficient technology. Dr. Kolli strives to educate and inform her patients and help them make the best choices for their unique dental health needs. She continues to build relationships with her patients and is committed to making you feel comfortable, valued, and special.
Dr. Kolli is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and the International Dental Implant Association (IDIA).
Originally from Danang, Vietnam, our friendly dental assistant, Thu Tran, received her training at the National School of Dental Assisting in North Dallas. She has been practicing for five years.
To Thu, being a dental assistant is much more than just “assisting!” She loves the variety each day and each patient brings. Helping every patient feel special and valued throughout their appointment is, in Thu’s words, “the best feeling in the world.”
When Thu is not working, she can often be found among her family and friends, and she loves to end every day with a long walk in the park or a bike ride through the countryside. She also enjoys baking cakes, reading, and travelling, and she especially loves discovering new places, people, and cultures.
